These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of services provided by Keena Ladies Thai Massage ("we", "our", "us", "Keena Massage"). By booking an appointment or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. Please read them carefully.
1. Service Overview
Keena Ladies Thai Massage provides professional massage therapy services exclusively for female clients aged 18 and over. Our services include:
- Traditional Thai massage
- Thai oil massage
- Deep tissue massage
- Thai foot massage
- Head, neck, and shoulder massage
- Sound healing therapy (Tibetan singing bowls)
- Custom treatment plans
2. Booking and Appointments
2.1 Making a Booking
Appointments can be made through:
- Our online booking system (Fresha platform)
- WhatsApp messaging
- Phone call
All bookings are subject to availability and confirmation.
2.2 Booking Confirmation
Your appointment is confirmed when:
- You receive a booking confirmation via email, SMS, or WhatsApp, or
- We verbally confirm your appointment during a phone conversation
2.3 Age Restriction
Our services are available exclusively to female clients aged 18 years and over. By booking an appointment, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
3. Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
3.1 Client Cancellations
- 24+ Hours Notice: Full refund or free rescheduling
- Less than 24 Hours Notice: May be subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the treatment cost
- No-Show: Full treatment cost may be charged
- Late Arrival: If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we reserve the right to shorten your treatment or reschedule
3.2 How to Cancel or Reschedule
To cancel or reschedule your appointment:
- Cancel via the Fresha booking system
- Contact us via WhatsApp, phone, or email
- Provide at least 24 hours' notice to avoid fees
3.3 Our Cancellations
In rare circumstances (illness, emergency, unforeseen events), we may need to cancel your appointment. We will:
- Notify you as soon as possible
- Offer to reschedule at your convenience
- Provide a full refund if rescheduling is not possible
4. Payment Terms
4.1 Payment Methods
We accept the following payment methods:
- Cash (paid in person after treatment)
- Card payment via Fresha (online booking deposits or full payment)
- Bank transfer (by prior arrangement)
4.2 Pricing
- Prices are displayed on our website and booking platform
- All prices are in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable
- Prices are subject to change but bookings are honoured at the price confirmed at time of booking
4.3 Deposits and Prepayment
- Some appointments may require a deposit or full prepayment (particularly for first-time clients or extended sessions)
- Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations made with less than 24 hours' notice
- Deposits are applied to your treatment cost
4.4 Payment Processing
Online payments are securely processed by Fresha. We do not store your full payment card details. Please refer to Fresha's terms and privacy policy for details on how they handle payment data.
5. Health and Safety
5.1 Medical Disclosure
You must inform us of any:
- Medical conditions (past or present)
- Injuries or surgeries
- Allergies (particularly to oils or products)
- Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
- Medications you are taking
- Any other health concerns
Failure to disclose relevant health information may result in treatment being refused or discontinued for safety reasons.
5.2 Contraindications
Massage therapy may not be suitable if you have certain conditions, including but not limited to:
- Contagious skin conditions or infections
- Fever or acute illness
- Recent surgery or injury
- Uncontrolled high blood pressure
- Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) or blood clotting disorders
- Severe osteoporosis
- Cancer (without written medical clearance)
We reserve the right to refuse treatment if we believe it may be unsafe for you.
5.3 Medical Advice
Our massage services are complementary therapies and do not replace medical treatment. We are not qualified to diagnose medical conditions or prescribe treatments. If you have health concerns, please consult your GP or medical professional.
5.4 Hygiene and Cleanliness
We maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness:
- Fresh towels and linens for every client
- Sanitised treatment room and equipment
- Hand washing and hygiene protocols
We ask that clients arrive clean and showered. We reserve the right to refuse treatment if hygiene standards are not met.
6. Client Conduct
We expect all clients to:
- Treat our therapist with respect and courtesy
- Arrive on time (or notify us if running late)
- Maintain appropriate boundaries during treatment
- Refrain from inappropriate behaviour, sexual advances, or harassment
- Not attend appointments under the influence of alcohol or drugs
Any form of inappropriate behaviour, harassment, or abuse will result in immediate termination of the appointment without refund, and you may be banned from future bookings.
7. Liability and Disclaimer
7.1 Treatment Outcomes
While we strive to provide the best possible care:
- We cannot guarantee specific results from massage therapy
- Individual responses to treatment vary
- Some soreness or discomfort may occur after deep tissue or sports massage (this is normal and typically subsides within 24-48 hours)
7.2 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any injury or adverse reaction resulting from undisclosed health conditions
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the treatment in question
- We maintain professional liability insurance
7.3 Personal Belongings
We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings. Please keep valuables secure or leave them at home.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on our website, including text, images, logos, and design, is the property of Keena Ladies Thai Massage and is protected by copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use our content without written permission.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Please see our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in accordance with UK GDPR.
10. Gift Vouchers
- Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Gift vouchers are non-refundable but can be transferred to another person
- Gift vouchers must be presented at the time of booking
- Expired vouchers cannot be redeemed or extended
11. Amendments to Services
We reserve the right to:
- Modify our services, treatments, or prices at any time
- Update these Terms of Service (we will notify you of significant changes)
- Temporarily suspend services due to unforeseen circumstances
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
13. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
